Leading as a Woman?

The 2016 US presidential election will be remembered for many things. One of those things is the demise of gender politics as a high priority across all segments of American women. Young women, growing up in an era where their dreams and aspirations are seen in equal measure as their young male counterparts, are supporting Bernie Sanders in droves over Hillary Clinton, the first truly serious female candidate for the highest office in the land.

Does this mean we are entering a post sexist world? Or is sexism, like other systemic forms of discrimination, becoming more cleverly disguised? And what are the implications for women leaders in every area of professional life?

My latest Huffington Post piece, “Leading as a Woman?” explores the challenge of declaring sexism dead.
